Cozy bohemian character shapes these two welcoming home designs, one buzzing with
Mediterranean colour, the other chilled in monochrome. The element that these two interiors do have in common is a plethora of enlivening botanical beauty. Indoor plants and dried displays bring feathered texture and height to eclectic layouts. Wood and rattan components make earthy accessories to the green botanics, natural pieces that could have been sourced from anywhere in the world or brought home from far flung adventures. Tribal rugs soften wooden floors and throw down eye-catching pattern, whilst colourful furniture ups the tempo in each living room scheme. Spanning 55 square metres in Moscow, our first interior gains boho heat from a warm terracotta decor scheme with ocean blue accents. A tribal rug throws down the suggestion of world travel and eclectic taste.
A plethora of mature indoor plants and a pair of floor length green leaf print curtains introduce a wild botanical element.
A cream shade lightly softens the brightness of a modern floor lamp, focussing its light over a comfortable reading chair. Terracotta upholstery merges the chair with its earthy backdrop.
Opposite the sofa, unique plant stands and wooden wall shelves, bringing them into main focus at eye level. An empty space has been left at the top centre of the living room wall as a screen for the projector.
The wooden console table a pair of beautiful speakers and a couple more terracotta planters. A wicker chair and wooden desk stand by the window, uplifted by cheerful blue accents.
Blue becomes more dominant as we move into the kitchen. Blue cabinets are teamed with a solid wood worktop and open kitchen shelving to build a Meditteranean flavour. indoor herb planters add a sweet rustic touch to a blank wall by the dining area.
Brick tiles are set in herringbone formation across the kitchen backsplash, with dark grout to accentuate the contemporary pattern.
A rattan pendant light shade hangs at the heart of the homey room rather than low over the kitchen table.
Botanicals are positively blooming inside the master bedroom. A leaf print bed set and foliage wallpaper are elevated by living specimens around the room. A tower of wall shelves hold knick-knacks, travel souvenirs and books. Another projector is housed on a long shelf over the bed.
Natural wooden elements gently complement the green bedroom decor.
A more formal bedside table example is employed at the opposite side of the bed, supporting a unique table lamp.
