Located in Kyiv, Ukraine, this 45 square metre studio apartment comes alive with pink and purple elements. A taffy pink modern sofa is separated from a run of pink and white kitchen cabinets by a solid purple island.
Concrete decor brings in an industrial style that hardens the sweet color palette. Indoor plants enliven the utilitarian backdrop.
Stylish kitchen bar stools pull up to the reverse side of the purple kitchen island, overlooking the sofa toward the TV. A linear suspension light drops from the concrete ceiling.

We take things down a notch as we tour the interior of a tiny studio in Thessaloniki, Greece. A plum colored sofa has one end set right inside of an arched niche. A botanical background grows a feeling of the great outdoors to prevent the space from seeming uncomfortably closed in. Unique hanging planters continue the garden theme to the other end of the couch.
A powder pink statement ceiling paints an illusion of spaciousness.
Round nesting coffee tables echo the curves of a classic architectural column and arches.
Two golden kitchen pendant lights dangle from the pink ceiling like a pair of oversize drop earrings. A chunky wood topped peninsula is deliciously curved around its edges.
A blue bedroom pendant light pops against a grey panel ceiling, whilst a matching blue archway makes a colorful mount for a modern wall sconce at one bedside. On the other side of the bed, a tall book ladder balances out the look of the headboard wall.
The bedroom floor is a combination of pink terrazzo and herringbone wood planking. The herringbone planking travels up the wall of a workspace in the bedroom, where the wood joins with yellow accents to make a warm and inviting aesthetic.
A mirrored cover slides across the arched doorway between the bedroom and living room, disguising the door as just another part of the decor.
Blue and yellow tiles come together with pink shelf linings in the bathroom to make a candy colored combo.

Designer Karim Rashid’s 1600 square foot Chelsea apartment is delightfully outrageous! Metallic pink, purple, silver and gold upholstery covers the sofa like a big candy wrapper. Color explodes across the rest of the living room in multicolor art, accessories, rugs, and statement furniture pieces.
South and west facing windows offer views to the Hudson River, though there is more than enough to keep the eye amused here indoors.
